A couple things to note, people who are reviewing this product that say that it only is getting 1000 MBPS, most likely only have a 1000 Mbps connection. Don’t believe it, My set up includes a 10 GB switch, 5 GB per second Internet speed, and it’s pulling ever bit 2.5 megs per second. Easy to connect, just plug it in, and it sets itself up, works perfect.

If anyone is wondering, yes this does work on the S9 FE, it wouldn't at first, but I restarted the tablet, and it connected seamlessly. The only down side is my tablet, not the Adapter, I have usb c 2.0, so I can at max use 480 mb instead of the 2.5 gb or 2500 mb. All in all, great product and fast wired WiFi :D

I use this plugged into my Synology NAS which lacks higher speed networking. There are instructions online on how to get it recognized by the NAS, and works well. It will be slightly more maintenance to keep it working during updates of the OS, but I haven't found anything difficult about it in this off-brand usage. I would recommend you keep at least one 1GbE connection active during updates as you might lose connectivity until you restart the driver. While not as easy as plug and go in this use-case (I'm sure Windows is much easier) it's a nice jump for my older Synology. Plug it into the USB port and set up the drivers (Instructions and drivers on GitHub) and enjoy the faster transfers.

It Ethernets well. Plug and play on Linux. Working continuously on a server since I got it a few months ago. Nice sturdy metal enclosure.
