I’ve only used this dock for a day since it only arrived earlier today, but it has worked flawlessly so far. The SSD showed up in the OS immediately and hasn’t had any issues so far. The usb ports and SD card readers have also worked without any issues as well. Also, in case anyone is curious, the button extension on the back left of the dock feels great. It has a satisfying click feel and is very useful to turn on the system or wake it from sleep I will update this review if I begin to have issues but so far I’m VERY pleased with this dock!

I picked this up for my Mac mini M4 because I was already running out of ports and didn’t want a bunch of separate dongles and drives cluttering up my desk. After using it for a few days, I can honestly say it feels like an accessory Apple should have made themselves. The design matches the Mac mini really well and fits perfectly underneath it without looking bulky or out of place. It actually makes the whole setup look cleaner and more organized. The biggest feature for me is the built-in NVMe SSD enclosure. I installed an SSD in just a few minutes and the Mac recognized it immediately. Transfer speeds have been fast and reliable, and I love not having another external drive and cable sitting on my desk. All the extra ports are super useful too. The front-facing USB ports and SD card reader make everyday use much more convenient, especially compared to constantly reaching around the back of the Mac mini. One small detail I didn’t expect to appreciate so much is the power button extension. It sounds minor, but not having to awkwardly reach under the Mac mini anymore is genuinely nice. Build quality feels excellent overall—solid, stable, and premium. It does get slightly warm during heavier file transfers, but nothing concerning and pretty normal for a dock with SSD support. Overall, this has been one of the most useful accessories I’ve bought for my Mac mini. If you need more ports, expandable storage, and a cleaner desk setup, this is absolutely worth considering.

This thing is awsome. The power on button is so much easier to operate now with the extender lever. At first the hub wasn't able to power all my usb devices that were connected to it. Then I went to look at the documentation and it said that one of the usc c ports was for input power to the hub. After I plugged in a 20 watt usb c power plug to it, it powered all my usb devices and the NVme I installed into the hub. Right now I'm running a web cam, a external sound card, 1 SSD, 1 super highspeed external NVme, the internal NVme I installed into the hub, an external blue ray burner, a drawing tablet, and I still have 1 usb c port left unused on the back of my m4 mac mini, and two on the front. I also have two usb A ports on the front of the hub unused at this time. I have tried both SD readers, the micro and the standard, and the both work perfectly. My Mac mini is actually working better now with the hub because of the extra power source its giving to the devices. Before the hub they NVme would disconnect or go slow. Not anymore! Everything works perfectly, even burning blu rays works now successfully. Great Hub, 5 Stars. And the color matches exactly and design looks great too!

UGreen honestly has something for everything. They have never done me wrong from hubs to hard drive enclosures to battery packs to this wonderful little doc for my MacMini M4. What are the best features? For me it is the little things....the ability to turn on the power without having to move the Mac. I feel like I can't be the only one who hates the location of the power button. Never fear, UGreen has you covered with a tiny piece of plastic that sticks out the back and makes turning on the Mac so easy. But the power switch isn't the only bonus, I love having the ability to add extra storage without having to use an external drive with a cable. You get all the IO you need on the front and even more on the back. You can never have too many ports. It is so easy to connect and when you put the Mac on the hub, there is plenty of space for ventilation. I had another brand for my M1 MacMini a few years ago and this UGreen hub offers way for the price. It make my Mac life easier and no need for dongles. You can't go wrong with UGreen, they always have you covered.

Fits the M4 Mac mini perfect. Looks like one piece honestly. Lines up with all the curves. No extra bulk. The silicone pads keep it from sliding around. No more scratches on my desk either. The NVMe slot is the big deal here. I got the base model so storage was tight right away. Threw in a spare drive I had. Now I've got tons of fast storage. No cables hanging off the side. 10Gbps transfer speed is legit. Big video files move quick. Also nice having USB-A ports. Three at 10Gbps, two more at 5Gbps. All my stuff just plugs right in. Best part though is the power button. Sounds dumb I know. But reaching behind the Mac mini to hit that tiny button on the bottom is annoying. Now it's just a lever on the dock. So much easier. Setup took like 30 seconds. One short cable and done. Keeps the desk clean too since everything runs through the dock. Pretty much a must have if you've got the M4.
