The little handheld has a lot of neat features and long battery life but the games suffer from slowdowns and sound issues... stuttering etc.

This is perfect for someone who wants to play some old school games without needing to know how to configure or set anything up. Just turn this on and play a game. Everything is pre-configured, and there are no settings to accidentally mess up. There is no special shutdown menu. Just exit the game you are playing and turn the machine off. It's as easy of a handheld that I've seen to play games on. Every game I tried worked fine. That does not mean every game is going to work, and out of over 15,000 games, there is bound to be some that do not work. The buttons all work well. The d-pad is decent. The screen is vibrant and clear. It has good sound. The battery life is good. This has a slight rubberized coating over the shell of the game that gives it an excellent grip. This has a lot of mame/arcade games on it, and they are my favorite. This is a nice relaxing casual game system that has a good selection of games that there has to be something you like. This is a good value for what you get.
