I bought the reel for trout and panfish paired with my ugly stik gx2 light rod my first day trying my new setup me and my cousin limited out on trout. The reel worked great it was smooth but strong I can tell the thing is gonna last. I definitely recommend.

I found it to be solid, smooth reeling and quiet. Well built reel. I don't have alot of time on mine. Have to see how it is after years of use. I like it enough I intend on replacing all my reels with the ugly stick reel. I use only ugly stick rods.
