Loved this box springs. I really didn't need it as my present bed adequately supports the mattress I got. However, the height was an issue. With my limited mobility, getting out of bed was agony. This item provided a boost in level and a less expensive alternative then getting a new frame. Now I can get up with ease and the frame works perfectly. It increased the height exactly to the level I needed, and I can ge up with no more charley horses trying to get up to walk. There is no creaking or other noise.
