We put this hammock in our backyard during the height of summer and enjoyed an almost daily cozy spot to hang out. Installation was a breeze, and takedown is a snap as well in case of inclement weather. Takes up almost zero storage space and weighs next to nothing so if you decide to take it camping or hiking you should have no issues lugging it around.

My daughter is going to college and has been introduced to a new verb..."Hammocking." That is going to a park with trees and setting up hammocks to sit, relax, and read or study. Since we are parents, we decided to get this hammock for her hammocking adventures. The hammock is made of colorful rip-stop nylon and does not weigh too much. It comes in its own pouch and can be crammed down into the size of half a loaf of bread. Set up is pretty intuitive and the tree straps do not stretch significantly. She only uses it for an hour or two at a time, so, overnight sleeping in one might be different in the stretching department. The "hammock pouch is large enough for at least two people, but you get squished together due to the design of hammocks in general. The kit has an eye shade, an inflatable neck pillow, and some earplugs. Nice to have I guess, but not needed for its intended purpose. We have only tried this out with sitting and hanging out. Not for sleeping. So your mileage may vary. I have had experience sleeping in a hammock due to my time in the military and for a side sleeper, it is not that fun. However, this one is a lot bigger than the tactical ones I used in the day. If you do use it for sleeping while camping, I'd recommend a rain fly or tarp you can erect over the hammock because you know it is going to rain! Overall, my daughter is pretty happy with this hammock. The price was reasonable and it seems a good value. There is nothing like a hammock to enjoy the outdoors with some friends.

Did well and held up. My husband is on the bigger size and it held him. Really cool that it comes with everything you need. We did change the hooks to some bigger ones we have though just to be in the safe side
