Sizing is inaccurate! 40 waist fits like a 44+. My exact waist size is 40. The size 40 was too big to even stay on my hips which might be 45; plus they have elastic so that would have been an issue as well. Returned the 40s and purchased 36 which fit perfect. I know that pants size varies from brand to brand; I wear 46 in Duluth and Levi but most other brands are actually 40. Many comments claim they fit exact which is an absolute lie.
