Not a simple task to assemble. Here are some tips from my experience. 1) as others have mentioned, removing the plastic film from the sheet metal parts is tedious and difficult. I found that using a heat gun on low setting and applying the heat from the back side (not directly on the film) helps release it from the surface. 2) using quick grip wood clamp s help hold parts in place while assembling them. 3) I recommend pouring concrete slabs for the floor. Add 3 or more inches around the perimeter. Ones the shed is in place, bolt it down & seal the perimeter. 4) use torque settings on your driver and set as low as possible to prevent stripping the metal when driving the screws. I’m pretty satisfied overall with this shed, especially considering the price. The front and bottom top portion are WAY flimsy and you can be certain they will get creased or miss shaped during installation. Overlooking this, you can’t beat this for the money. It’s amazing how much stuff I have in mine already, with plenty more space to use: (2) grills, lawnmower, pressure washer, and generator. Shed wasn’t hard to assemble. Love that all the holes were pre drill. Steps of assembly with the main beam weren’t as clear as I would have liked. I put a bead of caulking around the bottom to prevent rain from getting in. There are only four places to screw it into the wooden platform I set it on so I will be anchoring it down better. It did save a ton of money building it myself but I don’t think it’s possible to do it in eight hours as listed. ... show more

Have a drill handy. Had several pieces that were not pre drilled. Not a big deal, but something people should be prepared for. Like many people have said , the most time consuming part is removing all the protective plastic film.

I do not recommend this product. Pros- Lightweight, locking mechanism, swing doors instead of sliding, protective coating, plastic caps for corners, warning labels for height. Cons- Just putting it up has resulted in several scratches. See pictures. Hole alignment has been terrible sometimes resulting in the complete inability to secure screws. Pieces were bent right out of the box. Packaging is not appropriate to prevent damage. See pictures. The shed interior or exterior walls do not meet the stated 6' x 8' dimension. This dimension is for the overhanging roof. The shed is also short. My ladder is 6' and cannot easily fit in the shed as seen in pictures. The milled parts are not clean cut requiring extra debris to be knocked off prior to fitting pieces. This also results in having to force or shave connection pieces to fit. See pictures. We have multiple roof supports that are missing holes shown in instructions. Instructions are very vague. ... show more

For the price you get a good deal. Every panel was marked out. Easy to fallow instructions included, which made to put this thing together simple. Some people complained about holes not lining up... Mine did. I'm gonna build some shelves next and put this bad boy to use and free up my garage. One thing is true tho, them panels are very thin metal ,soooo don't poke it with no sharp objects coz you might puncture a hole in it. Ya 4 stars all day. ... show more

There are a few pieces that you don't really need, and some things aren't covered completely in the manual, but if you have common sense you'll figure it out pretty easy. Once set up, it's actually smaller than the dimensions it says but still pretty roomy. You probably won't find a good, sturdy shed like this for this kind of price. ... show more
