I've tried other 'blue' threadlockers, but they do not last. This one from Loctite is the best I've tried so far. After drying completely for 24 hours, it takes a little effort to unfasten hardware, which is exactly what I was looking for.

I used half the tube and my wife is still able to open her mouth. Doesn't work at all. It's great for keeping screws from coming loose, but that's not the problem I'm having.

Used this to secure some mounting screws for a .22 pic rail attachment. This makes sure the mount doesn’t get loose on the receiver. Probably overkill since .22 recoil isn’t bad, but better safe than sorry.

The little screws on the bathroom paper and towel holder kept coming lose and holder would fall. I put a little Loctite Threadlocker Blue on and it’s held up well for over 2 months now. Seems to have done the trick.

Simply, it works to hold folding knife pivot screws perfectly. A little dab is all it takes. Give it 24 hours to cure and you're all set.

I've known of loc-tite my whole life. But never had the need for it. Nothing with screws I had, ever came loose to need it. Until one of the hinges on my kitchen pantry would just NOT stay screwed in. Had to pick up some loc-tite Pros: - small enough tube (not large and hard to maneuver) - simply works - nicely visible blue color (you can see where and what you coated) - very cost friendly Cons: - unexpectedly runny (quite low viscosity) - packaging might have suggested snipping off a smaller portion of the nossle Would I buy it again? Yes! Not sure how long the tube lasts once opened. Honestly speaking, as mentioned I managed to get by my whole life without it. Should the day come to get more, I will. ... show more
