The combination numbers are recessed in the lock. Unlocking requires some nimbleness with the fingers. The shackle requires both hands to release. This is a really nice bike lock. It it sturdier than a siple cable combination lock, and more secure than a chain. The cable allows me to lock my bike and bike trailer together. This product feels great, its heavy enough to feel strong and has nicely rubberized surfaces. I don't have the capability to test the shackles resistance to angle grinders, but it won't be cut with chain cutters like most cable based locks can. The number wheels turn nicely and the reset mechanism is intuitive. The only thing I would change is making the bike frame clamp a bit bigger, as it was too small for many of the locations I wanted to attach it to, in the end i decided to keep it in my pannier bag. I got this for locking up the bike or scooter when I’m out. Simple to use, seems durable and more secure than using a cable. It does include a cable for locking up more than one bike or scooter together. I like the idea of the clip to keep it with your bike. I can’t use it with the scooter though.
