Great shackles! I use these shackles to hold my deer up after the hunt. They are strong, keep a good grip, and keep the deer in place just fine. They are the perfect size for the purpose I use them for and provide a great layer of protection. This kit saved my butt not once but twice so far. I used both shackles and snatchblock to pull myself out of a deep mud hole and another time when I bottomed out in a deep rut. Worked fine for the job. I did use the shift shackle to attach my kinetic rope to a fed ex truck that was stuck on some ice and it help up great under some hard poles from my Wrangler in 4-lo and pedal to the floor lol. I wish the snatchblock ring was a little larger, make it easier to put not only the soft shackle in, but also the winch line if needed. That said, it's a good kit for the occasional use. For serious off roaders who use their kit a lot or for those in the recovery business, I'd definitely recommend something made in USA as these are China made and China stuff does not go through the same testing as US equipment. ... show more
