I have a 12,000 winch on my F250 and I wanted a snach block that would have a good weight rating. So far this has worked amazingly. I only used a wire cable with it so far but I plan to change to braded rope. Its tough built and wont leave you stranded.

This is very heavy and appears to be well built. I have not used it yet but will when I recover a truck next week. Its not big but is rated for a lot of weight. It has a grease port and it works very well. I recommend this to anyone who wants a well built snatch block. I will add photos and an update next week after I use it to recover a full size Dodge off a mountain. I will need to pull the truck from a 90 degree angle from my truck so this and a tree saver will be used and maybe a strap as well counting on how close I can get to it. The truck is loaded full of material in the bed so should be in the range of 10,000 to 11,000 pounds and on a step slop down hill from where my truck will be sitting.

You must use a shackle with this. I didn’t have one with me one day but thought I could pass my chain through the opening. Nope! It really needs to have a slightly bigger sheave too. For recovery and winch use, it’s good. If the holes were bigger I’d give it 5 stars. Only 4 though because they are so small.
