The spiral binding makes it easy to lay the pages flat, while the front and back cover protect the sheets from getting damaged with the spiral binding. I have bought three of these now, I use them as notebooks for chemistry and mathematics. Giant blank papers give me lots of room to work with, and the paper is thick so my fountain pen does not bleed through it. The only complaint is that the binding as absolute trash and comes apart often. I frequently have to stuff the spirals back in, and that is annoying. But at 9 dollars for a large book of thick, blank paper I can hardly complain. Would recommend for all notebook needs. ... show more
