Description

Decorate and paint your arts and craft projects with this Deco Color acrylic paint marker. This all purpose crafting marker features 3-way chisel tip for thik and thin lines. Great on wood, plaster statues, foam projects, walls, paper craft, and terra cotta. This opaque water based pigmented acrylic paint is light fast, odorless, water resistant, acid free and non toxic. Avoid storing in extreme temperatures. Store between 60-degree and 85-degree Fahrenheit. Keep tightly capped when not in use and shake well before each use. Carded packing. Available in black color. Measures 3/4-inch length by 1-4/9-inch width by 7-1/4-inch height.

I used the red paint pen to make a heart to add to my crossword decor. I followed the instructions on the back, but it was difficult to get enough paint. Even with the pen primed it would be small streaks of paint and then all of a sudden a glob of paint would come out, so I’d have to spread it out as evenly as possible. I'm really overjoyed by this little guy. I am painting a deer-hide drum and was realizing pretty fast that my lack of experience with acrylics and brushes was going to make it near impossible to fill in the white crescent moon design the way I had envisioned. In one hour, I've been able to fill in my light pencil outlines with the beautiful white of this marker. There was a learning curve in figuring out how much flow to get, but it was a tiny bump in the journey, and not an indictment of the product as some reviewers suggest. I still have some touch up work to do, and have to over paint a spot that oozed out way too much paint, but overall, it did the trick like magic, and helped me emmensely to bring my vision to reality. I've never used an acrylic marker but I've used a lot of different mediums in artwork before. This was similar to a chalk marker but at least with chalk markers you can wipe away your mistakes quite easily. It was just very messy in general and I did not personally LIKE it but it did get the job done after some practice. I used it for a wood project and regular markers will bleed into the grain of the wood so I thought a paint marker would be perfect. This did bleed if pushing too hard. I had to barely touch the wood in order to get it to work and wipe the marker every time I started a new word to make sure there wasn't too much paint. Between these two issues, it made writing with it really inconsistent. ... show more

This is somewhat watery but still seems to work well enough for what I wanted to do with it, which was use it for my shrinky dink projects as a backwash. I do wish it was somewhat thicker though or at least less streaky. You have to layer it a couple times to get it looking right and truly opaque.
