This thing is great if you have a Unifi network. I use these in front desk situations with mixed PoE and unpowered Ethernet devices. One issue with the latest one I purchased, the firmware was so far out of date I had to update it to adopt it to the controller. This was done with SSH and using the firmware update command with a URL to the firmware package. It worked and adopted just fine after updating. These are great little switches for smaller offices that need PoE for phones or wifi AP's. Only the ports on the left side provide PoE which can be slightly inconvenient when you don't have a good map of what's what when replacing an existing switch. I already have a Unifi controller for managing Wifi AP's so it was very convenient to adopt and manage the switch from the same interface. The price is reasonable for the feature set. ... show more
