Description

The USW-Lite-8-PoE is a fully managed Layer 2 switch with eight Gigabit Ethernet ports for your RJ45 Ethernet devices. Four ports also offer auto- sensing 802.3at PoE+ that provide up to a total PoE wattage of 52W for UniFi Access Points or other PoE devices. Managed and configured by the UniFi Network Controller with UniFi mobile app support, the USW-Lite-8-PoE offers Layer 2 switching protocols and features. The UniFi Network Controller and mobile app allow admins to configure and monitor virtually all of the switch features in a graphical user interface from anywhere.

This switch is used for PoE for a security system that was installed after someone broke into our shed. It has been in use for about 10 months without a single hiccup.     • Easy installation and configuration
#1 If you're running your unifi controller locally make sure it's on version 7.2.95 or above. I got a mikrotik firewall and my new unifi lite 8 PoE is attached to it. After I upgraded my unifi controller to version 7.2.95 I was able to adopt my switch and I didn't have to do anything else.

The switch is working perfectly, I'm very happy with it. I have it hooked up to an Unifi Express, and am running a U6+ access point off one of the PoE ports and there have been no problems at all.
