    • Outstanding video and audio clarity
What an outstanding product. From the packaging to the setup to the final product. Sharp images, crystal clear audio, great user interface in the app. I also have Samsung bullet cams that are OK but Ubiquiti’s system is on another level. I plan to replace my whole Samsung setup with these cams

    • Great video quality, but requires the UniFi ecosystem
Why I ordered this item: We had a break-in try on our shed last spring and I finally got around to adding more coverage. This one covers the side yard where my old camera never reached. Likes: * Video quality is crazy good during the day. I can read the numbers on my neighbor's mailbox from across the yard. * Night vision is excellent too. The infrared kicks on and everything is still clear, just black and white instead of color. * It's PoE, so I only ran one cable out to it. No separate power brick sitting in a junction box somewhere. * It's metal, not some flimsy plastic housing, and it's held up fine through a couple of downpours with no fogging or water getting into the housing. I can hear cars on the street and even conversations if people are standing close enough. No likes: * You need a UniFi console or NVR to run this. If you're not already in that ecosystem it's kind of a jacked up amount of extra buying just to get one camera working. * The mounting arm is stiff to adjust. Getting the angle exactly right on my siding took some fussing with an allen key. * Field of view is narrower than I'd like for the price. I wish it pulled in a little more of the yard on each side. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes, if you already have a UniFi setup. Final thoughts: The low light footage stays clear and you can still make out details when you zoom in later. It's really only a good buy if you're already running UniFi gear though, since the console requirement is a real barrier for a single camera. ... show more

    • Great camera but not completely waterproof
Camera and the Unify system is excellent. I swapped all of my Chinese made to this for security reason. There is a major flaw with this bullet design, however: if you mount your camera outdoor with the base attached upward (in my case, it's under an eave), the opening at the base would allow water (during heavy storm) to come into the camera via the ethernet cable opening. After 2 years, my system stopped working. When I opened it up, the ethernet connector rusted completely and water sipped into the PCB board. ... show more

    • Quality product.
Solid quality and these cameras work great. The only complaint I have is that the slot for the ethernet cable can be tight if you are using exterior or outdoor rated cables. I have over 20 of these installed and have had zero issues with any of them.

Really great quality camera. Was super easy to install. Great quality even at night, works seamlessly in my network.

    • This is one of the best of the best
It is a proprietary camera and only works with Unifi NVRs, such as UniFi Protect , Dream Machine Pro / SE, Dream Router, Cloud Key Gen2/Gen2 plus ,UNVR/UNVR Pro or Cloud Console ($30/mon). You can also purchase as an add on to this camera a IR Range Extender , extends the IR range up to 82 Feet. It is an expensive camera compared to the HikVision, you get what you pay for HikVision camera in the south do not last Our of 8 cameras I am down to 4 Hikvision cameras and I am replacing them with these. ... show more
