I ready others saying it has a large dead spot... i did not experience this. No additional software or remapping. One issue i have is if i leave it plugged in, then it will somehow change button configurations. e.g. "x" is no longer "x" as far as function in a game and it's all jumbled up, not just the 1 button. Simple fix -- simply unplug it and plug it back in. Have to tun off the lights again, but that's no big deal, either. For the price it's worth it. The hassle is why there is -1 star.

We use it mostly for a wireless mouse with hotkeys for some for websites we use most and volume of computer on up and down through joy to key I still perfer the Xbox brand with the slightly frayed cord if I'm playing a video game, I find this a bit jerky and accidentally hitting*turbo" instead of select repeatedly has strange effects that creep up on you. I added the googley eyes.

Don't have to deal with the wireless receiver and charging like my last controller. I think the left and right triggers are a little to wide. I tend to hold it tight with my left hand and sometime accidently push the left trigger, which can be slightly annoying. Also the left and right joystick buttons tend to be too light while pressing up to sprint. They don't have that nice definitive clicking feel and sound you would get from a Ps3 Or Xbox controller. But for 20 bucks it's Good enough.
