  • Basic, light-duty foam brushes
Item Package Quantity: 20
These are very basic foam brushes on wooden handles. The foam portion is not firm or dense, and the plastic rib inside is fairly flexible/flimsy compared to other foam brushes. What that means is that it won't have enough support to apply thick paints and won't last as long, especially on coarser surfaces. I tend to use my foam brushes with thin acrylic paints and throw them away, so this is fine for me. The wood handles seem shorter and are much rougher than the other brands of foam brush I am accustomed to. Again, if these are for light use and disposable, there shouldn't be a problem. I didn't have any issues with the foam part detaching from the handles or even wobbling. The foam edges are angled/chiseled to a sharp point the way they should be. ... show more

  • Not for finishing projects
Item Package Quantity: 20
These were the cheapest foam brushes I could find and they met that title: cheap. They disintegrated as I used them. I used them for painting, staining, and sealing with polyurethane. With painting, little pieces of foam came off the brush and I had to pick it out of the paint before it dried. The pieces I didn’t get out before it dried I had to sand and repaint with a different brush. For staining, I had a similar problem but it wasn’t quite as bad. The stain wasn’t sticky so getting the bits of foam out was quite simple. The poly was the worst. I had to sand out the bits of foam after every layer. I don’t mind sanding, I do mind undoing my work. I do not recommend these for any type of work where you need a nice finish. Also, the foam and the handle separated during the project on about a quarter of the brushes. ... show more

  • great quality!
Item Package Quantity: 20
US Art Supply has an outstanding line of art supplies. I have gotten brushes, pencils and canvases from them. The quality has never disappointed me. The price never hurts my wallet! This pack of 20 foam sponge brushes is great for different applications. This value pack is sure to have the size I need for the job! There are ten 1" brushes, six 2" brushes, two 3" brushes, and two 4" brushes. The foam works great and absorbs the paint well without dripping. The tips are pointed and perfect for getting into tight places. The wood handles are lightweight and easy to hold. I have used these and washed them and reused them. They have held up really well. ... show more

  • Worst foam sponges I've ever used.
Item Package Quantity: 20
I usually buy foam sponges from Home Depot but figured I would save myself time and ordered these. Total waste of time and money. These are the worst foam sponges I've ever used. None of them made it through one application of paint, stain or poly, several ripped, and all of them began to shed a few minutes into use. ... show more

  • These brushes come apart when you’re using them and it can ruin your project.
Item Package Quantity: 20
Very poor quality, the foam is of a much less density compared to even the ones I get at Harbor Freight for similar money. Save your money, foam brushes are not all created equally apparently. I used these to polyurethane the pine inside my cabin and they started to pill and leave little pieces of foam in the finish, I had to sand them out. After going through about 4 or five brushes, I decided to go out and buy some better quality ones and it was much easier and less hassle. I ended up throwing out most of them after getting the better ones. ... show more

  • Good buy..
Item Package Quantity: 20
Bought these to clean my Instant Pot lid. They are perfect. Rinse, squeeze and stick in dishwasher to clean. I got so many that I put some in the art room for projects...all in all good price for so many.

  • Good change from a brush
Item Package Quantity: 20
I loved these. It was my first time painting with a sponge. It was great to eliminate the brush marks a brush causes. If you rinse them quickly when done it works out better. I left a couple of them too long. I had to throw those out. I also found that with a heavy hand, they kind of become “spineless”. I lost a few due to mistreatment and kept some in service. Anyway I love these. ... show more

  • Cheap
Item Package Quantity: 20
I bought these thinking they were the ones I got about a year ago. NOT These things are very flimsy and almost unusable. If you wear gloves and don't worry about getting epoxy on them (gloves) you can get by with these brushes. They bend easily where the foam and handle meet. You have to hold the brush itself, the handle is just in the way. Spend a few more bucks and get some that are a bit better quality. ... show more
