I purchased this stethoscope as an extra alternative for a job at the VA. The veterans there love that I support the Armed Forces..they noticed every detail about things! I have had 4 Littman’s throughout my career, and this compares best to the Master Cardiology (which I have). Sounds are clear, when the earpieces are in, you cannot hear any back ground noise. Its design is nice with a slick flat semi-gloss to almost flat appearance. I’ve diagnosed a a few new heart murmurs and (abnormal) S3 tones with this scope recently. If you are looking for an extra to keep around or are wanting to support the military in some fashion, this is a great way…plus, it’s a great scope for decent money. Win-win! ... show more

When I saw this cardiology stethoscope at such a low price I thought I'd give it a try. Wow this is durable and the length is good. I hope I'm supporting the US ARMY for buying it. I read all the glowing reviews and had high hopes that this would be better then my basic Littman. Nope. Might even be worse. but only marginally. It was cheaper then the Littman but this isn't a cardiac stethoscope.
