    • Poorly manufactured. No quality control.
Poorly manufactured product. It’s made of molded plastic, probably in China, and the various parts had to be assembled by someone who threw it in a bin once completed while all along knowing it wouldn’t work properly. Frustrating! The tilting flanges were bowed in enough against the motor guide that it doesn’t allow It to tilt freely. It will eventually break while trying to force it to tilt. I read a previous review stating the same but was hoping they weren’t all bad and for that price it was worth trying. Also, I bought it hoping it would be lighter than the stock metal clamp since it’s being used on a kayak where weight is an issue. This thing is huge compared to the stock one and weighs as much if not more. Definitely would not recommend. ... show more

Not easy. But if you have a few patience this will make the BEST transducer mount for about $60. After reading all of the reviews I bought one. Best move. LOOKS AWESOME. Yes I did tare it apart and rebuild it. But kept looking for a transducer mount and they were all junk.
