The setback from the transom with the 2" setback bracket is 5 3/8" clearance when using the sandwich brackets. I thought I needed the 5" setback brackets (which I ordered and returned) but those actually give you 8 7/8" clearance from transom and stuck out too far. I just wish Minn-Kota would issue a drawing that clearly shows dimensions with sandwich bracket so it is clear which ones need ordered. ... show more

purchased it from Amazon warehouse but the wrong size was in the box. ( 6" instead of 4") But for $77.00 how could I go wrong. Turns out the 6" rise was a better height. The 6" is on the port side and it gives a little more clearance. Not that big of a deal. The quality of the Raptor accessories are bar none, excellent fit and finish. spend the extra money and do it right. so glad I didn't go through the transom of the boat. ... show more
