Great product to run a regular transom trolling motor on the bow. I have since bought a foot pedal trolling motor so I gave this to my buddy and he uses it on his jon boat now. Easy installation as it requires no drilling. This motor mount bracket allows me to move my electric trolling motor to the bow of my boat. I haven't used it yet but it should work fine for better control.

the all plastic build is concerning, i have a 40lb mini kota that when going fill tilt likes to come off, i do have this mounted on the side of a tracker 14, I recommend tapping some screws about 1 inch to hard mount your trolling motor to the mount.
