It arrived as off-white with the black metal with goldish markings on it. I was very upset but grandson suggested I paint it. I painted the white part an antique gold or bronze color using a metallic paint. It looks just like the picture!!! I LOVE this light because I made it look like what was advertised in the picture. Really thought this would be smaller, so when it arrived I quickly realized it wasn't going to work where i intended. I moved it to a different room and it is perfect. IT is HEAVY, you need 2 ppl to install it. One to hold it up and one to do the wiring. Better looking than the ones in the big box stores. Very pleased. ... show more

The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star was because we received a defective part. We ordered an open box item at a discount which can be a hit or miss. I wish amazon would check more thoroughly before sending the open box items back out. But one of the parts we received was damaged beyond hope. The hole where a screw would’ve gone in was completely flattened. So we had to wait for a replacement and then had to go through the trouble of returning it. And because it is a larger item there were fewer options. Khols was the only free return option. It is very easy and intuitive to assemble. The chandelier is a little bit heavy so it was also a little challenging but it wasn’t that bad. Since it been installed so we received a lot of compliments from people. ... show more
