I haven’t had a chance to install this winch yet, but first impressions are really good. Everything looks to be well made right out of the box, and the components feel solid and durable. The synthetic rope is a nice touch, and I like that it comes with both a wireless remote and a wired switch for flexibility. The included fairlead and mounting plate are also a big plus—it seems like a complete kit that should make installation straightforward. Overall, it appears to be a quality-built winch for the price. Looking forward to getting it mounted up and putting it to use.

Excellent performance and easy to use. The fairlead and synthetic rope combination work perfectly, reducing wear and improving safety. I’ve used it in mud and rough terrain, and it pulled my ATV out without any struggle. Highly recommended for outdoor enthusiasts.

For the price, @6500lb capacity, it’s a true value. At a similar price point, at low cost tool stores (HFT) their Bdlnds branded winch is rated at less capacity, and is heavier. Some could argue heavier duty due to a metal cable in HFT unit, this TYT winch unit comes with synthetic cable which is supposed to be rated pretty strong too. The unit comes in mostly black, especially once mounted you will not see the green print, mostly hidden by frame. The biggest selling point on this unit versus others I could have purchased (HFT) is that this unit is wireless. A wireless unit means you can recover your vehicle (ATV/UTV) without having to be tethered to the remote control. You can activate the unit wirelessly while in the driver’s seat and turn/gas your vehicle to get “unstuck.” My small truck only weighs total of 4,700lbs, so this lighter unit will actually work perfect for my mid-size small truck for trails. Plus my truck will be lighter. Which is the end goal.
