This product is one of the best hair products I've used. I have really coarse curly hair and this product was able to straighten my hair (to where it was manageable). Initially, I tried to use it on my dry hair, but I felt like it was putting too much heat on my hair for the result. When I used it with my damp hair, the results were much better. The products review show this working for 4a-4c hair. I have a mixture of 3C, 4a and 4b hair. It did not straighten my 4b hair AT ALL. It works great on wigs, but that's about all. My daughter has 3b hair, and it didn't work that great on her hair, either. I feel like this is some sort of scam or misleading advertising. ... show more

    • Kickass product with one design flaw
I would give this comb 5 stars if it weren't for one major flaw. On a few separate occasions the comb has grabbed my earring that sits in my helix piercing (top of the ear). I wear a stud, not a hoop, and the clasp at the back is just big enough to fit in the slots of the comb and stick. On one occasion I had to unplug the comb and have my husband unstick my ear from the comb. Kinda comical, but truly scary when it's set to 300° + and your ear is stuck to it. Even with that, it does not, and would not prevent me from using the comb. I'm sure if the product was used as intended and not in haste I wouldn't get my ear stuck in the first place. This product is night and day from my typical Chi flat iron. It leaves your hair shiny and much straighter. I've noticed that any damage I had previously is pretty much gone and my hair a lot healthier. Overall this comb is Kick-Ass! ... show more
