I really like this hair straightening tool. My hair is normally kind of frizzy with a wave to it. Most days I wear it in long loose curls via a curling brush I purchased on Amazon. I do like to mix it up and decided I’d try a different straightening tool so I bought this one. I have long color processed blonde hair. I used it after blow drying and love the ease of the tool as opposed to clamp style tools. It is so much faster! Also, my hair lasted 3 days straight with a quick touch up of morning. Works great! It took me a few tries to figure out how to use it but once I did it was faster than the straightening iron. The key for my thick frizzy hair was to make sure it was in the center and from underneath.

My hair has a soft wave (2a/2b) and an obnoxious amount of floofyness when I leave it natural. It also resists styling like nobody's business, and will revert back to the floof wave within a couple of hours or the slightest bit of humidity. It would take a good 45 minutes - 1 hour to straighten with a flat iron and still not lay 100% straight. With this brush I can get everything exactly how I want in 15-20 minutes. It's easy to use, straightens more hair at once, and saves that ache I get in my wrists when using the flat or curling iron. The heat it puts out is epic, but with the silicon tips on the bristles I don't end up accidentally burning myself like I do with the other two devices. Be forewarned though, you want to use this on already dry hair; moisture makes it pop and crackle. My one sadness is that it's kinda a pain in the butt to clean and get the little hairs out that get stuck between the bristles. If I fire it up having missed one, I can smell it burning and that's a little obnoxious. Well worth the trade off for an amazing straightening product though! Would buy again! ... show more

I was really excited about this as it takes me a long time to straighten my hair using my iron. I have long, thin but dense hair, dyed almost midway to ends. My hair is mostly straight with an occasional wave/curl here and there. I have tried this brush on dry, clean hair. 1. Took about half an hour to get the results I did, which were not the best. 2. I've found it difficult to brush through any layer but the first one Iit would just glide on the surface, if I deepen the teeth so they touch my skin I can feel the heat--though not too much--and it pulls some of my hairs out) so had to use clips and separate hair and sections to lift it so I can reach the rest of it, just like with the iron. Cannot simply brush the hair and ta-dah! 3. The temperature that the instructions said I need for the type of hair I have did little to nothing, only when I cranked it all the way up to 450 did it start working better-that's why temp control only got 4 starts in my review, otherwise it's really easy to use and heats fast. 4. End game--hair was not really straight, I get better results with my iron, of course with the downside of it being kinda flat but verses the puffy semi straight result that I got with this I think I'd rather stick with the iron. This is literally the only hair tool I’ve ever used that does exactly what it says right out the box. I have an extremely stubborn wave pattern throughout my hair that never responds to just a flat iron and I was able to get my hair smooth with 2-3 passes at 370. My hair is just below shoulder length and it took me less than 10min to get everything smooth (my hair was fully air dried) It worked so well that I immediately went and ordered a 2nd one as a Christmas gift. ... show more

I just got it and tried right away. My hair looks great. I was afraid about the brush being to big but it's perfect. It heats very fast and my hair got done in recorded time.
