I purchased this product after seeing so many women with 4C hair rave about it. My strands tend to be dry, shrink quickly, and stay that way—especially in humidity or during the wash process. Stretching my hair used to require a very hot blow‑dryer, heavy oils, and lots of product, which eventually left my hair dry and brittle. Aging hasn’t helped either. The TYMO arrived well‑packaged, similar to other premium tools. It was very easy to use, especially on the low setting around 280°. It did a great job stretching and smoothing the length of my hair. Because of the design, it doesn’t get very close to the roots, so they stay a bit puffy, but that’s expected with this type of tool. I appreciate that it offers higher temperature settings for the times I want to go from stretching to full straightening. I won’t use those often because of my hair type, but it’s nice to have the option. The size is comparable to a curling iron or flat iron, and the price was reasonable compared to other sites. Overall, it smooths my hair well and works perfectly as an in‑between tool when I don’t want to use a blow‑dryer. It helps manage humidity and even helps my sweet almond oil penetrate better. Great value, and I expect it to last for years.

I like the straightener brush, I think I need a little more practice with it to try and learn how to get my hair to turn under at the end. Also, I have wavy hair and I still can't seem to get my hair perfectly straight but it helps calm it down a little so it isn't sticking out completely.

First time no happy with a product from Amazon/their partner company. I purchased it new, a heated hairbrush . It came with hair in the brush, I’m not happy with the quality control! I had just plugged it in to start using it and noticed several long, black, wavy strands of hair in the brush. I have short black, straight hair with grey in it. My own personal phobia, I hate hair in any of my food products or hair products. Especially when it’s not my hair.

Definitely not as effective as a traditional flat iron. Doesn't keep the frizz away like a traditional iron either. However, it is handy as a quick re-do on your hair after it's been Flat-ironed as a touch up. Probably ideal for someone with only a slightly wavy texture vs. A heavy curled textured hair. Light-weight is nice for ease of use. Rapid heating as well.
