I’m impressed with how well packaged this thing was. Everything was neatly in the box, definitely packaged with care. It comes with clips, a charging block, a cable, the unit itself, and a storage pouch. It seems to be made really well. It has a soft, smooth and attractive pink finish. Very easy to operate. There’s a little plug that acts as a lock which is one of the best things they could have done. It prevents any accidents. It’s not as small or light as I would want it to be for travel, but it’s definitely more portable than most heat brushes I’ve seen. Funny thing is, the pouch included with it will not hold the charge cable, the box, and brush. I’m usually pretty good at situating things to get them to fit, but I tried it every way I could. No such luck. It’s not what I’d consider a deal breaker because if you were traveling, you could easily just use your main charge box for it as it’s USB-C. Just thought I’d mention this, lol. Now, as far as use goes. Meh. I’m biracial with sort of an in between hair texture. My hair isn’t what I’d call coarse when blown straight, but definitely far from fine such as a Caucasian’s hair would be. While this thing gets hotter than I thought it would get, it’s still not hot enough to use it on its own. I tried it both ways. Not having straightened my hair with a real flat iron and using it after I’d already straightened just to touch it up. It doesn’t work well at all using it on its own and honestly, it doesn’t work much better for touch ups on my hair. I can however see it being a great tool for those with finer hair that responds better to heat. I’d also like to add that my hair is natural (no relaxers) and I use hair dye at home, so I realize that affects the texture of my hair as well. In short, if you have finer hair, this is a good product for you, but just realize that it’s not going to do anything for those with fussy hair, like me.

I just received this and I have to say I didn’t have high hopes because of some negative reviews. Got it on sale and I am very happy that I did! It is small and easy to use. My hair turns out great with minimal effort. I read some neg reviews about how it turns on accidentally but it literally has a cap to prevent it from turning on! (See my pictures) Plus, it comes with two hair clips and everything is pink! Overall highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. The packaging was a little damaged but otherwise was very thoughtfully packaged. Love that it comes with a travel case (white bag pictured) and I love the feature plug nodule that keeps the device from activating without removal. I have natural curly hair and had a couple week old blow out that had started to puff at the roots and spread downward. I was headed to an event for work and needed to mend the look. I tested the brush really quickly right before I had to soon leave. I figured it out and had it warm up while I ate a quick lunch and then came to run over my hair. I used the medium setting i think. (Second dot) which I think did okay after a few passes and being sure to go down a bit slow each pass. I can see a difference in the hair but it’s not a super significant difference. I am going to enjoy testing this under different circumstances such as on a freshly washed and blow dried head of mine and also on a higher heat level with smaller sections getting passed through. I think the device is great and has potential to be a great tool for finer hair people but I will advise my naturals and curly girls to know how your hair handles heat before giving this too many expectations. Perfect for travel for sure but don’t think this will give you a silk press. Think of it as a touch up tool for your silk press. Hope this helps . NOTE: it was making some sort of low buzzing sound during heat up - not sure if it was because of the first time or not but it eventually stopped. Also, just as a note that while passing through my hair the “bristles” did not burn my scalp, I actually really didn’t feel any heat from them when pushing the brush down to pass through larger sections, it was just like I was regularly brushing my hair. But the hair itself actually did hold heat from the passes so be mindful if you usually have sensitive fingers when dealing with pressed hair.
