So far so good! i have a new 2023 GMC Sierra Crew cab with a 70” bed. It fits well and no light is visible from inside the bed so I hope that means waterproof. It took me about two hours to install BUT honestly, I spent almost over an hour OCDing over centering the cover, seriously longer than I should have, it really isn’t that difficult! I also spent about 40 minutes calling the 1-800 number because I had a question. More in a second… the actual installation literally took less than 10 minutes and was very straight forward! So the parts list identified a forward and a rear rubber weather stripping but the part numbers included were completely different so I called to get advice if what was included can be used. So here’s the rub, absolutely the worse phone support ever, the worse! The person that helped me need to have me explain the question three times, she asked if I have a part number, she finally responded with, “ so the item you received is the wrong part…” i said, “yes” she paused for a bit and said you need to go to the web site and verify you actually purchased the part. I hung up. I chose to us the weather stip that most closely matched the gap/height between the front of the bed and the side rails. So far so good. No flapping or noise at 70+ mph on the freeway. I read there may be an issue with the automatic tailgate release, I’m not experiencing this. Looks good so I’m pleased. I saved the box, but I hope I don’t have to return it in the next 30 days.
