Took roughly 20 minutes to install for the Toyota Tacoma. It assembles to the bed rails and takes minor adjustment on the cover side to have it fit. When you need to hold things that are larger than the top, it can either be folded back (2 folds) or taken off entirely (2 min to do). There’s straps to secure it once it’s been folded into a configuration with the bed exposed so it won’t come undone. I noticed the weather stripping is not fully flush and I’ll need to find a way to make it fill my space better so water doesn’t flow into my bed from the front. I like that I can lock the tailgate with a key now and you can’t get inside (unless you cut the soft cover itself). Best way I can explain the material is like a reinforced camping tarp. I doubt hail will puncture the material and only sharp objects intentionally stabbed through could cut it. I’ve noticed over the past week MPG increase from general 18-19 mpg to 21-22 mpg on my back road commute to work on a 45-55 mph road. Seems to match studies of ~10% increase but I’m sure there are better streamlined tonneaus for this. Bottom line: Easy install, great on budget, keeps bed moderately secure from eyes and tempted thieves, and marginally saves gas mileage. ... show more

I put this tonneau cover on my 6' bed 2023 Toyota Tacoma and it's a perfect fit. I bought it mainly for the winter time so snow didn't collect in the bed of my truck and leak water all night. Also I wanted it for storing things in the back while driving so they didn't blow around. What I forgot to think about was that it really helps with improving gas millage. I live in the mountains and average about 17.5mpg. Yesterday I took a drive up to the pass from 4,300' elevation to 9,600' elevation and my average mpg when I got back was 19.8. That's the best MPG I've gotten yet, and I'm sure it's be even better for more flat driving. I highly recommend this cover. ... show more

Very easy to install, love how the clips slide into the Tacoma cargo rail system. Only a very small gap above the tailgate, but it allows the tailgate to open and close without opening the cover. Adjusted the locking clip to tight and the back end raised up. Loosened it up and the back laid right down. The metal pins don’t spring back so you have to push them to lock into place. I’m not confident on the durability of the plastic parts that hold the rear of the cover down, but for the price I just hope it lasts a year or two. ... show more

Does not sag. Fits great. Easy to install. Easy to pull off when needed. Roll rear window down to fit in back seat if needed to store if you didn’t expect to need it off.
