Description

To restore your vehicle's factory cooling efficiency, all TYC radiators are equivalent to OE construction for number and placement of fluid tubes and cooling fins. For those radiators with transmission oil coolers, the tanks are molded using heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic for added protection against extreme engine temperatures. Each TYC radiator is leak-tested before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality.

Very well packaged and arrived without any issues upon close inspection. Fits right in with all mounts and traded brackets for the reservoir and fan shroud etc. Easy three hr swap if you are familiar with the work and have the right tools. Great buy so far and will see about the long term performance. Edit one and a half year and over 20000 miles later - Holds pressure not a drop of coolant lost. Absolutely happy with this radiator. Slid in just as one would expect once the oem was removed. Time will tell if it has the same service life. Didn’t include mount bushings or radiator cap. (Didn’t expect, just sharing).

So far this radiator seems to be a good replacement for the leaking radiator in my 2006 Toyota 4Runner. I had done a lot of research on the various forums, and the recommended replacement radiators were the Toyota, Koyo, or Denso brands, but a few had used the TYC. I couldn't find any bad info about the product, and I needed something I could get within a couple of days. So far, so good (one month and 1500 miles). This radiator came right on time and the packaging was good (no damage in shipment). Fit was perfect. I accidentally broke one of the lower tabs holding the fan shroud as I was reassembling, but thankfully this isn't a structural piece for the radiator. This was a perfect replacement for my 2007 Toyota 4Runner- looks oem I could not tell the difference from the original, problem was and has not been corrected, it is not packaged with enough protection as has been complained about by others, I cannot understand why they have not fixed, just some added padding would have done it, the whole radiator should be wrapped in foam, i had to send the first one back because of broken mounts - they shipped fedex and all the shippers are not very careful they beat the hell out of these packages. ... show more
