The price is right for these but you get what you pay for. While I did stuff the bags, I didn't overstuff them. One of the bags tore and was unusable. But I really only needed one and, for what they cost, it did the trick.

I had to pick star ratings for "sturdiness" and "durability" and "value for the money" as well as an "overall rating." It was not easy to decide because some of the questions do not apply at this point. I wish to say that one of the "shoulder straps" of the one of the storage bags had NOT withstood some basic use, never mind rugged or durable or long-term use. (See attached photos). The rest of the bag is still usable for storage so I am keeping it and it would be a hassle to return it anyway. It seems that though the compartment part of the bag is made of material that is strong enough to hold certain items, the straps and/or handles on the bag seem to be made of flimsy material and it feels too lightweight and thin and seems NOT to be sewn onto the body of the bag in the best possible way. This bag may be good for placing items in it but you would have to be careful about using the handles or shoulder straps to carry the bag (depending also on how heavy the items in it are). I had some winter coats and jackets and some other clothes placed in one of the bags . The bag would be most useful for storing items such as blankets, clothes and sneakers, etc., nothing that would be very solid and heavy such as books, or computer equipment or appliances, many cans of food, etc.. It would be very useful if the straps and handles were made of more rugged material. Sometimes you might find yourself needing to carry something of certain dimensions to the post office such as a box which has relatively light items in it such as packages of socks and underwear underwear and a bag like this Ikea bag (which is squarish and roomy) would be very useful, but again. you cannot rely on the straps or maybe handles being strong enough. Of course it could be that the particular bag I was sent is faulty, and does not mean that all other Ikea bags of this kind are. I have only tried one of the two bags I received. However though this bag is good for storage needs or for perhaps for carrying or moving certain items, it seems to lack full function of its features so to speak.
