Great value for this type of camera tool. The quality of the video is good, just keep the lens front getting dirty/oily. Battery life is great. Charged it once and I have used it a handful of times. Love how you can turn the camera! Great for inspecting valves while the head is still installed on the engine and great for checking cylinder walls. Nice storage box it comes in. Easy to store/carry with you.

I had rats eat the wire to a fuel injector - that I could see and fix, but I didn’t want to start repairs without knowing what else I was in for as I had to weigh up the cost of DIY vs $250 insurance deductible. Sent the bore scope in and found the nest under the manifold along with the wire they chewed off. Not too much damage otherwise (a few chewed sleeves and ties) so I replaced the connector (bought on Amazon), cleared the codes and saved $150. The scope was easy to maneuver, the images were very clear and the articulating end allowed me to get accurate pictures. I spent way too much time having fun with this, but I checked the entire engine which would have been impossible without it. Now to find some moth balls and peppermint spray. Update 01/01/25 Tried using it a 2nd time and the articulation stopped working. Amazon are replacing it.

I bought this to to look up my bathroom wall because of a suspected plumbing leak. I found out that there was nothing wrong with the plumbing except when my kids splash in the bath tub the overflow leaks a little bit. so with a little bit of silicone and some time I didn't have to rip up the wall just to discover that. Also I bought a used car that has a door code that can be used to unlock the car without keys, and that code was unknow and with the help of YouTube and this scope I was able to find where the manufacture hides the code and use the scope to find it and take a picture. the fact the it was cheaper to buy this one that uses your phone and the picture taking capability is what sold me on this one.

The camera functions are all nice and work as expected.... But I wasn't expecting that you connect to the camera through Wi-Fi. Maybe it said it in the description but I didn't see it. Besides the hassle of switching wifi networks back and forth, it operates well and has clear picture. The articulation feature works well, can be a little counter intuitive, depending how your brain is wired.

Like a lot of low cost options there is always some concern about life span but initial quality is high. It's well packaged with a great semihard case. The image is super clear and the articulation works well. This got to the underside of a water pump I couldn't have inspected any other way and let's me use my phone even when it isn't directly mounted to the hand unit. Great purchase

opening the box, it looks really well made and mechanically operates smoothly and I would love to try it out. I've tried for several days not to view it with my phone, downloaded the app, followed the instructions and re-installed the app three times now. Finding support has proven difficult. Got messages into the seller and waiting for some kind of support. I tried Phone support through amazon but outside of un-installing and reinstalling the app they couldn't help me. I gave two stars based on the quality and appearance of it. If they get it going and i can use it I will update my review.
