Been using this all week. Fishing wires ib a older home. Romex,cat 6 and security cables. Picture is awesome and articulating head is fantastic. If u work in older homes, this cam is a home run. Don’t think about it just get it. U will luv it!!

Does not work. When I press the power button on the borescope it does not turn on. When I call the support services no one answers. I emailed the support services, no reply so far. I am thinking of returning it, send it back.

First off, the title on Amazon product page says it is an endosope. An endoscope is a medical device, this is a borescope and is a not intended for use in a medical setting. One of it's most common useages is to inspect engine cylinders with the head in place (through the spark plug hole). The borescope is also useful in electrical and plumbing applications, whenever what needs to be inspected is in an place that is accessible but not directly observable. The borescope is rechargable (via an included USB-A to USB-C cable). The battery is Lithium and has a 2000mAh capacity. It takes about 3 1/2 hours to charge from empty and can run up to 3 hours on a single charge. The borescope comes with a 4.3" IPS color screen, a padded case, 4 accessories for the camera (hook, magnet, side mirror, and lens protective cover), and a 32GB microSD flash card. The 8mm camera is at the end of a 1.5 meter (5 foot) 'gooseneck' cable. The camera assembly articulates 210° in opposite directions. With the camera's 70° field of view, this gives this borescope 360° of visual coverage. The camera has a maximum image resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and has a 4x optical zoom capability. The camera is equipped with an adjustable 8 element 24 lumen light at its tip (4 brightness levels). Both still images and videos can be captured. Images can be captured in 2 Megapixels, 1 Megapixel, or VGA. Videos can be captured in 1080p, 720p, or VGA. When capturing video, audio is recorded from a microphone in the camera. The borescope has a IP67 waterproof rating and will operate between 32°F and 113°F (the camera will operate between 32°F to 176°F). If you are inspecting engine cylinders, make sure they have cooled down before using the borescope. Video resolution, image resolution, video audio function (enabled/disabled), language (11 languages are supported), date tag (enabled/disabled), set current date/time, auto power-off (enabled/disabled), screen brightness (5 levels), flash card formatting, and system reset are the setting options. The controls on the borescope's screen assembly are Mode (image/video), Camera Light Brightness, Selection Up (screen is not a touchscreen), Select (choose selection/freeze screen), Selection Down, Settings, and Power On/Off). Images and videos can be transferred to a computer via the MicroSD flash card or a USB-C cable. A silicone flap covers the ports (USB-C, MicroSD card, and Factory Reset Button). A wheel in the handle controls the camera articulation and an adjacent button takes an image or starts/stops video recording. I found the borescope easy to use. I took a picture of the outlet from my dishwasher into my garbage disposal. What you see is 20 years of deposits. The outlet needs to be opened and the hose replaced. Without a borescope, I would never seen this potential issue. I detected no visual or operational defects in manufacturing.
