I’ve used this trainer a few times already, and I’m very impressed with it. It’s a very good addition to my home workout setup, as it offers a solid chest/arm workout that’s very convenient. The design is simple, which makes it look sharp whether it’s set up in my home or brought along to the gym. The build quality feels sturdy so far; that said, I’ll need a few more months to see if the metal components hold up under intense use, but for now, it looks pretty solid. One of the highlights is how functional and straightforward it is to use. The assembly process was very easy (less than a minute) and the adjustable settings allow for a targeted workout, which is great for someone like me who wants a quick and fun chest workout. I work long hours, so having this portable arm trainer as a backup workout option at home is very convenient. Another big plus is its portability. The ability to easily disassemble the trainer also makes it perfect for travel or for bringing to the gym as a supplementary piece of equipment. I’ve been incorporating it into my gym routine as an extra workout for my chest/arm muscles, and it’s been a great addition to my workouts. Overall, a good value for the money.

I bought this to add some variety to my at-home workouts, especially for my arms and chest. It definitely gives you a good burn once you get the hang of it. The adjustable resistance is nice because you can start light and work your way up as you get stronger. The downside is that it’s not the most intuitive to use right out of the box. There were no clear instructions, so I had to look up a video to figure out the best movements for different muscle groups. It also makes a slight squeaking noise after a few uses, so a little WD-40 might be necessary. Overall, it’s portable, affordable, and effective for quick workouts, but I wouldn’t call it gym-quality equipment. It’s fine for casual fitness enthusiasts but might not satisfy someone more serious about training.

The Twister Arm Trainer is a bar you bend in the center to create resistance for different exercises (Photo 1). Depending on how and where you use it, you can target a variety of muscle groups with just this one piece of equipment. The ends and the inner handlebars are padded, which helps with grip and makes it more comfortable to hold (Photo 2). You can also change the resistance by sliding the handles up and down the bar (Photo 3). When it comes to chest workouts, this device works pretty well, especially if you use the end handlebars. You can get a solid squeeze in your chest and feel the muscles working. Cons – The problem comes with almost every other exercise. Using the inner handlebars puts too much pressure on the wrists and inner forearms, which left me sore, after trying them out and not in a good way. For exercises like shoulders, back, forearms, or legs, I didn’t feel much tension on the actual muscles, just discomfort from the bar pressing awkwardly against my body. Bicep curls were especially frustrating because the inner handle doesn’t let you move through a full range of motion. To even do a bicep curl, you have to either let the bar dig into your body or try to balance it awkwardly with your other hand. Overall, the chest exercises are the only real benefit. For anything else, I’d pass.

This was easy to put together and works as expected. They only reason for the reduced star is that it is unclear how to adjust the weight from the 60-110 pounds, and based on the one picture I could Find it might just be how you hold it and it is either 60 or 110 pounds of resistance. I thought it was more of an incremental adjustment so as you got stronger you could add more resistance. The only other issue I have is that it doesn’t fit tightly together. There is just a bit of movement between the pieces and that makes it feel a little less solid, but so far that has not affected its performance. Overall, it’s ok. We will keep it and add it into our workout rotation.

This is such an interesting training tool for an at-home gym. It is built pretty sturdy and has a lot of resistance. I think with practice, you could do a lot and it would build muscle. It feels like something someone doing calisthenics would use (technically calisthenics uses body weight not any other tool) but it feels like that haha. It’s a nice addition, I will probably just use it whenever. Was super easy to build and has solid resistance. Has a lot of functionalities too. Pretty cheap for the solid build (feels like metal).

I have recently started a new exercise routine. I love trying new exercise and bodybuilding equipment. I must say, this Twister Arm Trainer is super cool. The ad says it's for men, but I'm a woman and it works just great for me as well. It was super easy to assemble and feels very sturdy and well made. There's many different exercises that this works great for. The only one I'm afraid to use it for is the thighs. Even my husband was a little nervous using it on his thighs as well. But maybe we just haven't mastered it yet. But all in all I think this is a great device.
