Description
How do I adjust the resistance? Press the buttons on both handles and insert them into the holes on the steel bar to select 40lb, 60lb, or 90lb. Start with 40lb using the outer holes.Setup instructions are shown in the images and available in the guide below the listing. It feels too hard to bend—why? Check handle direction—both should curve inward like you're hugging. Also ensure resistance isn't set to 90lb, the highest level. Wrong setup or max tension can make it feel impossible to use. Does the setup length affect resistance? Yes. A longer setup feels lighter and easier to bend, while a shorter setup increases resistance. That’s why starting with the outer holes (longest setup) is best for beginners. The handles don’t lock smoothly—what should I do? Make sure the spring buttons on the handles fully snap into the steel bar holes. Align the holes carefully and press until you hear a click.
