This turned out to be a really good gift. Watched a movie with my wife, making s'mores in our recliners with a little table between us ... all while a cold front moved through with chilly / howling wind. Couldn't have been a better time to be inside - with a toasting flame. The telescoping roasting forks were perfect size for the flame / heat. It's pit is tiny and the set up is absolutely basic ... the hard part was learning that "Bio Ethanol Fuel" is not a common big box store item - at this time. Asked the folks at Ace where to find it, and they never heard of it (yet they had a display in the center aisle selling a "table top fire pit" that used the same "fuel'.) Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes said I could order it from their website and pick it up or have it delivered to the house. I ended up just ordering some - on Amazon ... so save yourself some time and purchase the fuel with the product. Last note, don't expect hair singing heat from this ... which to me is perfectly fine, I wanted it for roasting marshmallows, not forging steel. My wife loved it.

The photos on the product page don't do this Table Top Fire Bowl justice. No picture could. It's made of a nice designer concrete material and is much heavier than expected. The design on the concrete base is subtle but beautiful. It helps create a nice atmosphere. The bluish color glass/rocks surrounding the fire pit add to the beauty. Of course, other colors can be used, but the included ones look fantastic. Iv'e never roasted marshmallows or made S'mores using a table top fire pit, but two marshmallow sticks are included with the kit as well as a steel snuffer to put out the fire. I'm going to have to try it soon. I ordered this for the table on my deck to be used when sitting around outside or having a BBQ. I need another one for the dining table. If you are looking for a table top fire pit, you can't go wrong with this one!

Wow, I couldn't believe how heavy and solid this concrete fire pit is. It is concrete, but yet looks like marble. It has a perfect "marble" coating over the concrete. This fire pit was well protected in thick Styrofoam, so it naturally came without any blemishes. It comes with an instruction sheet, 2 forks, a snuffer to put out the flame, 2 metal inserts for the fuel (not included), a small cotton sheet that goes inside the metal insert, 2 bags of marbles/rocks, and a felt pad to adhere to the bottom of the fire pit. The felt pad was tucked down and hidden between the Styrofoam and the box, and I almost missed it. Be sure to look for it in the box, as this will help to protect your table from getting scratched. I will use it on my patio. Overall, this is a very good quality fire pit. I am impressed.

The base is very heavy, no fear of it tipping over. There are extra decorative stones as using them all gets in the way of the flame. The kit comes with the snuffer to put the flame out, the cloth for the fuel and two skewers for toasting marshmallows. Great for small use, either individual or two people. The brand of fuel determines how long it will stay lit.
