The 1/4" was the right part for my H1700 pressure washer. I replaced two on the unit and then had a spare when I needed it for a defective nozzle I received (and could fix easier than return).

This item is advertised as 1/4" and 3/8" connectors. The item page does not specify whether that's inner or outer dimensions (I'd presume inner). Either way, the actual dimensions (inner) are 3/8" and 1/2", not 1/4" and 3/8". Other than that, the item seemed fine - they are O-rings.
