I wanted to give it a couple of weeks to get a feel for this mattress before I reviewed it. I love this mattress so much. I got the 14-inch and it expanded fully in around 24 hours. I don't understand how a mattress can be so soft, yet firm at the same time. I guess it is the memory foam layer. It holds you like a cloud while the bottom foam layer gives support. I haven't had a good night of sleep in years. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and am in need of a hip replacement desperately. This has helped me get some quality sleep while waiting on approval for surgery. No more tossing and turning all night trying to get comfy. i ordered this for my 19 yr old son who has a mild case of scoliosis, the old mattress wasn't cutting it, i was looking for a decent, affordable mattress, i came across this, read the reviews and decided to give it a go, i'm glad i did. this mattress is perfect! it is a bit firm, but not like sleeping on board. it was easy to open and i did let it sit and expand, it is 8 in thick, there was no smell (like others mentioned) , weighs 40lbs and was just super easy to handle. i am not disappointed and neither is the kiddo. ... show more

I read so many reviews on this mattress and I was on the fence about buying it but I’m so glad that I did!! It’s so comfortable and I love it!! I had a much more expensive one and this is so far just as comfortable! I do however wish that I would have bought the 12 or 14 inch for height!
