  • Awesome So Far
Size: Large/X-Large
Love the fit and the breath ability!

  • feel great but for large calf riders there isnt a good size option
Size: XX-Large
I have large calves and sized for those, unfortunately that means above the knee is fairly loose, if I Pull them down over the calf muscle it pulls the whole pad down below the knee as it slips. The solution is to hike them up slightly above the calf muscle so they don't get pulled down but a Velcro closure at the thigh or a longer design might help. Otherwise great pads! flexible and comfortable ... show more

  • Made me confident.
Size: Large/X-Large
Worked well. I didn’t fall yet to test out impact, but I’m confident in them. I thought they may be slightly loose but after my legs swelled from action, they were perfect. The sticky stuff inside held on nicely without pulling hairs. It was quite comfy. I think it was breathable. It was a nice day when I went. No idea how these will perform on a really HOT day. ... show more

  • as described
Size: Large/X-Large
I don't like these, but technically they are as described. They are soft and flexible, but thinkly padded and squishy to kneel in. I found these in a search for skateboarding pads but nothing in the description actually recommends them for skateboarding - these would be terrible for any concrete hobbies like road biking, skating, skateboarding, etc. because the outer is cloth and concrete would shred them. These are for indoors and mud. Maybe under pants would be okay. I just noticed that when I was looking for these, I found the hooligan type first - and accidentally got these. These have no straps, only the sleeve, so they have to be first layer. That also makes the sizing a lot less forgiving, especially for people with different calf-thigh ratios. The edges of the pads top and bottom have that plasticy strip that sticks to skin, which I generally dislike, but is required without straps. I think these will stay on fine if you get the right size and are not too furry. There is no hole at the inner knee so the fabric does bunch up. They are also really long, from higher than the shorts line to where crew socks come up. Don't plan to pair with shin guards, but the knee pad does extend down. I think these are best for people who need pads with a thinner profile than straps allow and who will wear pants over them and not expect to slide, unless indoors on hard smooth floor. I got L/XL and measure 16" and 14-15". These seem to be the right size new, but might slip if they age/loosen. I recommend buying for the thigh size if you can, but if your calves are bug they will dig in a lot. ... show more

Stitching came loose
Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2024 by Paul L

  • Cheap threads for stitching
Size: XX-Large
Great knee pad concept even for wearing all day long on the job. Easy to clean too. The only issue I experienced is that the threads used for the stitching could be more durable. On the second day of wear, not kidding; the seam on the upper leg (top) had torn, and now the rubber rolls down (knee pad falls). I still wear them, re-seamed them myself, and recommend moistening the rubber while putting on the knee pads (they stay in place better during early activities). I WOULD NOT recommend these; I paid for a NAME again, not QUALITY. ... show more

  • Great
Size: XX-Large
Great fit, comfort and protection but after the first fall there was a pull in the Kevlar fabric which is odd. 5 stars without that. Great protection if yer not racing or having big impact crashes from big air mishaps.

  • Great fit! Comfortable! Easy to move around in.
Size: XX-Large
I got the Ninja MTB Speed King Knee Pads for my electric scootering around the city. This is NOT what they are intended for, but I hate the solid plastic knee and elbow pads, so I am using these because I am still able to easily move my arms around, they are really comfortable, and they fit well. I had to get the XXL size because of my leg circumference, but they fit perfectly and no complaints! ... show more
