I bought the 6 inch thickness version of this mattress in the twin size. It was a good quality and sprang to life soon after I took off the tight plastic wrap. It was listed as medium firmness. As soon as I sat down on it I sank into it and quickly felt the metal cross ribs of the bed frame I positioned it on. I weigh 220 lbs. and it was listed for people who weigh up to 250 lbs. I clearly could not use it. In this day and age where box springs are not in use as much as in days gone by, you can't beat these metal assemble- it- yourself mattress support frames. But you need to use a mattress that is firm with a solid backing that protects you from the ribs of the metal frame. Another item for donation!

I have never slept so wonderfully!! My family is jealous! I know now what the next gift will be. This was so easy to get in place. It almost does it without you. I simply stood behind the arrow and began unwrapping it. It automatically came to life. I wanted to give this a very fair review. I slept on it for several nights. As I have been working out, my back has been sore. I don't like taking pain meds on a regular basis. I was hoping that a good night of sleeping where my body was truly supported would help. The first night was like sleeping in an expensive hotel. I had support, yet I sank into the cloud. When I woke up, I wanted to spend the whole day right there. Room service, please.... The user guide states that you can vacuum it with a soft brush attachment. It also says not to be alarmed if there is an odor, but there was none. I am sensitive to some smells, but I had nothing. It also reminds you to unbox it at the time of delivery. You should give it 24 H to 72 H for it to expand fully. (It also says that you can't fully submerge this in water. Who would do that?? Somebody must have it if it is in their direction. QUALITY: 5 out of 5 PROS: The support and luxury sleeping are everything! CONS: (Everything has a negative. It may be small and is not a mark against the product.) I had to wait three days to enjoy an amazing night's rest. Overall, this is an amazing mattress that I wish I had years ago. My neck, back, and hips feel great. The support is amazing. I cannot recommend this enough. It is GREAT!!

I got this for my 10 year old to replace his spring mattress since the springs have been bothering him lately. It is SO soft and comfortable and my 14 year old (who I thought already had a memory foam one but who apparently has a spring one still) is so jealous of him. There was no odor to the foam material and it's firm enough to not sink in too far - supportive, while still being really soft. It's perfect for my 10 year old. We always use waterproof mattress protectors so i'm not worried about that aspect of whether it will hold up - it makes me nervous to have ANY mattress potentially exposed to liquids (whether pee, unexpected vomit, spilled drinks, anything at all) so we do that right away and I highly recommend in order to keep mattresses in good shape. All that said, I'm knocking off one star because it seems to be a slightly odd size. It is a little bit wider than my child's bed has room for, so it doesn't seem to be a normal twin width - just a little too wide, which makes it harder to make his bed up with sheets etc.

The 6" memory foam twin mattress comes rolled up tightly and is easy to get the plastic off with the safety cutting tool included. The tool protects the mattress while cutting the plastic off. It expanded quite a bit after 48 hours to its full thickness. The mattress has a cover that is cool to the touch and keeps my body from getting too hot since the fabric is breathable. The bottom of the mattress has a non slip bottom that stays stable on my platform frame. The cover is also removable and machine washable which is a huge benefit to me because most mattresses that is not possible. I also put a mattress cover over the mattress itself for extra protection. I find the mattress to be of a medium firmness which I prefer. I can't stand the mattresses that are too soft and you sink down into them and can't move around or get out of it. At first I wasn't sure the mattress was thick enough to be super comfortable but it really is. You could even add this as a mattress topper to an old mattress to make it more comfortable and firm. I would even recommend this for a dorm room mattress. Overall this is a comfortable mattress that is made of quality memory foam that is supportive yet gentle on your joints. The memory foam is made of a cooling material and the cover is machine washable. The affordable price also made this a great purchase.

I ordered this 6 inch mattress for my son's new bed, and I would call it decent for a 6 inch mattress. He is still small, so a thicker mattress isn't really necessary. He says it is very comfortable - and he is picky for a little bugger. I did end up getting a 3 inch topper for it so there wouldn't be such a big gap between the bottom of the headboard and the top of the mattress, but that is personal preference. The mattress was really easy to set up, an it inflated very quickly - almost fully within a few hours, then a day or two for the rest. It's a nice mattress for the price. I don't know how long it will last , but if you take care of it, it seems like it will last quite awhile - especially for a kid that's still somewhat small. I also recommend getting a bunky board if you are using a platform-style bed. That way, the mattress won't migrate between the slats, and it will be much more comfortable to sleep in. This one would be great for a bunk bed since it's so low-profile. Definitely recommended if you are looking for quality on a tight budget.

I got this mattress for my guest room, and I must say that it is very comfortable. I’m primarily a back sleeper and deal with back pain, so the medium-firm feel provides a good balance of cushioning and support for me. It conforms to my body without making me feel like I’m sinking too deeply into the mattress. I figured that if it feels comfortable and helps me sleep better, my guests should be happy with it as well. The mattress arrives compressed and rolled inside a box, making it easier to move into the room and place on the bed frame. After unboxing it, you simply unroll it and allow approximately 24 to 72 hours for it to fully expand and regain its intended shape. The memory foam is designed with softer zones around the shoulders and hips and firmer support around the waist and spine. I could feel that it distributed my weight evenly while still providing the support I need as a back sleeper. The breathable cover and open-cell foam are also intended to improve airflow and reduce heat buildup. The foam is CertiPUR-US certified, while the cover is OEKO-TEX certified, which provides additional reassurance regarding the materials used. Overall, this is a supportive and comfortable guest-room mattress with a medium-firm feel. Based on my own experience sleeping on it, I would be perfectly comfortable offering this bed to overnight guests.
