I purchased this bed for my 4 year old grandson. It was relatively easy to assemble. My husband helped. Definitely two person job. Appears very sturdy and the LED light strip is a hoot. My grandson loves it, especially the remote that he can employ independently. I purchased a Zinus 5" mattress to go with it. I like this model because it has a 15" safety rail instead of the usual 12" I saw on other beds. The ladder as part of the shelf system was no problem for a four year old. A younger, smaller child may have difficulty climbing up the ladder. The drawers are fabric like you would find in any foldable storage bin. Take care when you insert the bin holders- the hangers need to be reversed so the bins will slide in from the outside. My grandson gave the low loft bed a five star rating!

Great bed for my preschooler, he has loved hanging out below. It’s sturdy, the size is good for a medium to small room. Not noisy or clanky like some metal beds tend to be. We love it! The only thing is you will need to get more Velcro strips or zip ties for the light strips down below. Easy fix!

The bed was pretty easy to put together. Some pieces for the drawers didn't fit but I contacted the seller and they are sending the new pieces. I was able to put together the rest of the bed and my son absolutely loves it. Also, we have a ceiling fan in the room so I didn't want the bed to be too high. It is the perfect size for an 8yr old. Would definitely recommend!
