Middle bar on bottom of bed is flimsy and easily bend, making bed frame bend. Set is super unsturdy and makes sounds when kids toss and turn in middle of night. Set was easy to assemble but very thin metal. Child complained of bars going up to top bed being painful to feet. Overall a safety hazard.

I had to order this quickly for kids coming to visit soon so I didn't have time to check reviews. When I came here later while waiting for it to show up I was concerned with it's quality after reading these. Now I don't know what's up with some of these reviews. Either they're being dishonest about the abuse the bed is receiving because there's no way an under 100lb kid could hurt this thing unless they were TRYING, or their beds were heavily damaged in shipping. That's the not maker's fault. The package IS quite heavy so it's not surprising my box was pretty beat up, but there's a decent amount of styrofoam surrounding the bed inside. The only damage I found was as I put the new mattresses on I noticed the top rail was very slightly bent as you'll see in the picture. Not at all noticeable from straight on, even if you're looking for it. I can live with that and if it bothers me I can easily bend it back But as far as being sturdy it's actually surprisingly sturdy given it's price. As a 210lb man I can plop right on the bottom bunk and it doesn't feel like anything is about to bend, let alone break. I have zero fears letting my 5 and 9yr old sleep on it. I'm all for leaving bad reviews if the product itself is bad, but c'mon people. You can't blame a product for shipping damage. Especially when the item actually IS surrounded by padding. This will always be an issue when we order heavy items. They WILL get beat up. If this were a $250-300 bed like many of them cost I'd give it 4 stars as some of the fit and finish of the hardware wasn't as smooth as it could be, but for this price it's to be expected.

HORRIBLE!!!! Is cheap the bed is already falling apart the bottom bars are bent… One of the bars broke… I had to buy bed supporters.. I can’t reach the buyer, there email don’t exist and Amazon won’t help
