Overall I think this bed was a good purchase for the price. It is used for our 5 year old twins and they love it. There are some cosmetic defects (like drill marks where someone clearly drilled through something on top of the step) and the screw holes to attach the stairs to the bed did not line up but nothing we couldn't handle. My biggest complaint was that the bottoms to the drawers is so flimsy I'm nervous to use them.

Multiple pieces mislabeled, multiple pieces drilled incorrectly. While attempting to attach the stairs, couldn’t because nothing lined up correctly. I can’t even use the stairs on the bed because they will not attach. I have built multiple beds, dressers, and bunk beds. In the last week I put 2 other bunk beds up with no issues. This was the poorest design and instructions I have EVER come across. Would NEVER buy from this company Again.

So I love the quality of the product! The fact that it is real wood is a great thing! But some of the prices cam chiped.. it took me nearly 2 weeks to put it together because it was so intense. I do feel like the instructions are a bit hard to understand, but I have seen worse... the one thing I absolutely HATED about this, is the hardware. It is not organized very well and super hard to tell which peices go where. They had some peices that are for the bottom bunk in the same bag as peicea that go with the stairs, and two of the screws had metal welded into the screw so I couldn't even screw it in.

The beds themselves are well built from solid wood. The steps portion is made from particle board. The threaded inserts pull out of the particle board when the kids stomp up and down on them. I foresee having to replicate the steps in the future from real solid wood.

Some mismatched holes. Very very easy to strip out some holes with too much torque on a hand screwdriver. Good color. Pretty good finish. Hopefully it holds up well for a long time for our kids.
