This has been a hit since we finished putting it together. It took a couple nights to completely finish (about 5-6 hours). The instructions were adequate, and with a mechanical knowledge it came together fairly easily. We did have the long back piece for the top bunk come broken, probably from shipping. The seller responded quickly and sent us another which we got in about 4 days. We went ahead and were using it as the wall is there anyway to keep the boys from falling. The slide is pretty fast. My 2 yr old won't go down without holding a hand and even my 5 yr old is cautious. My 4 yr old (the top bunk sleeper) loves the speed. One side effect of the tall canopy is the small bottom bunk head space. My 2 yr old hits his head if he's not ducking so pretty tight. Overall. We're very happy with the new play area/beds.

So… I just finished putting this thing together. It looks great. I think it’s sturdy 🤞🏼 The bed itself was very easy to assemble. It was almost fun actually. However, the stairs for some reason were a complete mess to assemble. Lol. I survived and I’m very happy with the results considering this was significantly cheaper than most I looked at.

Arrived quickly in two large heavy boxes. Since I got the hardware it was pretty easy to put together with predrilled holes. It looks great and has lots of storage. The slide is a little steep. My daughter hurt her ankles the first night it was together. It is sturdy and well made and looks great! She really loves it. Great bed!

We ordered this bed and it arrived in 3 boxes over a couple of days. We got the free install with the purchase which made it ideal for us. We were kept well informed of when the service techs would arrive to perform the install. It was set up promptly and professionally by two really nice guys. Our Grandson who is 6 really enjoyed the bed and using the slide, steps and cubbys to store his toys. We are happy with this purchase.

I've been a woodworker for over a decade. First, let me say that for the most part the pre-machined holes/slots/etc. are pretty well executed. Better than a lot of "furniture in a box" I've assembled. That said, I did have to deepen a few holes. Second, most of the hardware is sufficient but the screws that hold the drawer magnets on are insufficient. In general, the drawers/stairs could use some refining. See photos. My biggest gripe is the flimsiness. I will add some long screws and braces to fortify. I could definitely see some rowdy kids destroying this thing in a short time. Also, if you're a novice, this will be a pretty challenging and frustrating assembly. Enlist help. I needed a second person a couple of times. Overall it took me about six hours to assemble this unit. Some of the wood was cracked or splintered but most was ok.

After putting this bed together for my kiddos to share a room the whole house smelled funny like plasticy paint. Their room still has a little odor to it and it’s Been over a week. The beds were pretty simple to put together as well as the drawers. The stairs however were quite difficult it was definitely a two person task. Also the slide didn’t fit in the groves so we had to miter it a little larger to slip the board in. But then once we added the slide I realized the angle of the slide was too steep and someone was going to get hurt. So we left it off. If I was giving the beds a rating. It’s a 10 out of 10. If I could rate the slide it’s a 2 out of 10. And once the stairs were put together they are great. I would say 7/10. Oh also we didn’t have enough screws to finish the stairs so we had to go out and try and find something similar. But they weren’t a perfect match. We have had this bed now for about 6 months. The kids still love it. However. The doors on the stairs did not hold up to being stepped on which I knew those were going to break because the kids would leave them open and walk on them…also all of the stairs keep coming loose. I have to tighten the bolts a least once a month. Because the whole thing moves when you climb in the bed. Not a scary move. But it does sway when my 5 year old climbs to the top. I don’t know how long this bed lasts, I might have to switch the kids around and put my older child on the bottom.

I paid for professional assembly and on the day of the technician discovered some damaged pieces. The seller was really easy to communicate with and replaced the damaged box in a timely manner. When the technician came back out after I received the replacement box the technician could not figure out the instructions and not all the holes lined up nor did they send all of the screws, but as you can see the technician did put the bed together. If you are a handy person you can figure it out, if you are not you will have a very hard time putting this bed together. The bed is beautiful and wood, the slide is steep. I am giving the bed 3 stars because the bed is wood but the instructions are impossible to figure out, i have wholes with no screws and not everything lined up perfectly. The technician did his best and that is the only reason this bed looks as nice as it does.
