OMG! This is one of my most favorite purchases in the history of my life. I purchased two for my disabled teens. One thing that caught me off guard but was not at all the fault of the seller was the size of this bed. It is huge, but not in a bad way. I’m completely shocked at how sturdy it is and how well made it is. I usually HATE putting stuff together bc I am horrible at it. I can’t begin to explain how absolute horrendous things turn out when I try to put things together, but I managed to put together both of these beds by myself!!! The instructions were so clear and I’ve never seen an item that was packaged so well!! It took me about 5 hours to put together both by myself but I’m positive it would take a regular person much less time. I love this item so much and recommend anyone buy it. And although this has nothing to do with the seller, but Amazon brought both items upstairs to my apartment and they were really heavy. I’m so grateful for that and wish there was a way I could tip the delivery person. Anyway, if you’re not sure if you should purchase this item, DO IT! ... show more

We got this bed because it had the parent/guardian spot. My son is autistic and can take up to two hours to get him asleep at night. It is nice to have a spot designated that I am not awkwardly laying or sitting on his bed, then disturb him trying to get up after he is asleep. Another review stated sharp edges, the only edge that is sharp of any concern is the corner railing between the bed and the parent spot. We just put a corner protector on it. The parent seat is squeaky with any movement, I think because there are no legs in the middle, and the cushion is like a cardboard with a bit of fabric over it. Read directions carefully and watch how you are putting it together. Definitely a two person assembly. The yellow sticker says it has to stay on for safety reasons. I wish it was in a better spot, hidden from a curious toddler. We might just remove it because it is starting to peel already. We have been using it for a week now. It is serving us for our current needs and our son is loving it. The parent spot even makes for a great reading spot for our son. He loves to sit there and read his books. It is quirky, but it is a great bed for what we were looking for! ... show more

I scoured the internet for WEEKS trying to find the perfect bed that had everything I wanted and a weight capacity that I felt was acceptable. I wanted something that was going to last my now 6 year old for years to come. I ultimately decided on this bunk bed, black metal with a trundle twin over twin. I have to say I was a bit skeptical due to the very reasonable price but I figured worse case scenario I would have to send it back. The bunk bed was delivered a whole 6 days before the anticipated delivery date, which was a very pleasant surprise! The day I put it together I just became more and more pleased with my purchase! The bed was packaged very well to prevent contents from shifting/scratching in the box. All items were clearly labeled as well. The instructions were easy to follow ill just say to pay attention to the direction of the holes in the pieces other than that it was very easy to follow to pictures and assemble. With me and my sister in law (two females) we were able to have it together in 1.5 hrs. All the beds I looked at had very mixed reviews. The reviews on this product were the best I found but I couldn't believe the item could actually be that good for the price. I was fully expecting a flimsy, rickety bed but both me and my daughter love it! Would definitely recommend. Bonus is that it's convertible to two/three beds instead of the bunk bed! ... show more

My 7 yr old and her husky love this bed! They can have sleepovers every night and have their own spaces. Not super difficult to assemble, but you’ll definitely want at least 3 people for set up.

If you have a small room it might take up space. But I love it for my 3 year old. It's pretty sturdy but the side seat can be squicky. Over all love it.. it's so cute. ( you can hang lights or garland on top)
