The media could not be loaded. I would rate this mattress similarly to the average review at 4.5 stars! This is one of the most significant purchases of the year despite its simplicity. The wrong mattress can be a true pain to live with - and this is something that could significantly impact quality of life. Being the first mattress I have ever purchased new, I knew it wouldn't be easy. At this point, I had developed significant back pains from sleeping in a bad position on an old mattress of questionable worth. I had always been lucky with mattresses but in this case, I was badly in need of a new one. I chose Kescas because it ticked all the right boxes; it was a hybrid type with good side support and back support. It was less expensive than pure foam but performed admirably for the price. I do have two complaints as they make it seem as if the mattress is either produced here in the USA or Mexico, but the box clearly says Made in China. This isn't really an issue but misleading. The other complaint is that the edge is quite soft for sitting. I waited the full 72 hours before using the mattress and the first few nights were the best sleep I had in ages. The mattress is definitely comfortable, and although I wouldn't describe it as perfect, it really helped relieve a lot of the back pain I had suffered as a result of sleeping on an old spring mattress for a year (I do get some slight lower back pains but nothing like I used to). I do feel perhaps it could have better support for stomach sleepers, but being that they need very firm mattresses unsuited for side sleepers I can't knock the mattress for that. The quilted Euro-top is good quality and well-stitched. I did have an expensive king-sized foam mattress before and I would describe the Kesca mattress as being similarly capable in terms of sleep and comfort. I would have preferred a pillow top, but the Euro top is a more durable design. The corners sagging slightly is apparently a limitation of the design and is normal. Pros: Fantastic value Well-made mattress Good quality quilted top Great support for back and side sleepers. Well-supported overall, especially in the middle. Cons: Not exactly lacking in edge support since I can't imagine sleeping that far out to the edge, but is a bit soft for sitting. Bit flimsy when lifting and moving around. I would say overall that the mattress had been a good purchase and there isn't very much to dislike about it, especially given the price. Relieved back pains about as much as the 1000 dollar foam mattress I used to have which is saying something! Finally, I have noticed that the tendency to want to stay in bed all day has increased since buying the mattress which is crazy but true! I would recommend it.

I purchased the 10” hybrid mattress w/ heavier coils and found it a good quality mattress. It is a very firm bed and has good edge support for a hybrid bed (i.e. when you sit on the edge, it doesn’t compress as much as other memory foam beds, though maybe not so much stiffness as a traditional coil mattress). While “firm” can be a subjective term, I’ve been on other beds called firm and considered them medium. This one I would definitely call firm. In the 3 months I have had it, the surface has maintained its form, with no sign of sagging after use by an average height/weight woman sleeping in the middle of the bed. The only issue I have had is that I have back pain that isn’t alleviated with this bed, and I had hoped the added firmness would help with that. Everyone is different on what works for them, so this could just be the way my body responds to a hybrid bed. For the two years prior to this purchase I had a softer memory foam bed and that was worse because it had no support – hence the reason I purchased this one for the firmer bed with the added support of the heavier coils. I give it 5 stars because the description was accurate, quality was good for the price, it arrived quickly w/o hassle, and customer support was very responsive.

The mattress is a good quality. It has a firm feel, with slightly softer edges - the description wasn’t very clear about that and I need a softer base for my back and sleeping position. I thought the mattress fit our queen bed as expected, it comes shrink-wrapped in a box which helps move it inside the house - once out of the box we placed on the bed and then removed the wrapping plastic to allow for it to expand - if done right it becomes easier to place it the right side up on the bed. Unfortunately I need to return the mattress because it didn’t agree with my back, I contacted their customer service through Amazon and received prompt attention after I found their email reply in my junk folder :-)

Fantastic mattress at a great price! It's a medium firm mattress - not too soft and not too hard. Medium firm means it will be a bit firm. So all the reviews stating too firm or not soft -- If you want a soft, pillow-top mattress, then do not buy this and then give it bad reviews. If you want a firmer mattress, then look for specifications that it is firm, not medium firm. Unboxed it and let it sit for 2 days. It expands to over 10”, sides do not sink, perfect support no matter where you lay, and so comfortable! Highly recommend!

We were hesitant on buying a mattress online - however this mattress exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable - easy set up and we are defiantly sleeping better. The only thing that we don't like about the mattress is that there is no edge support. Other than that we will be purchasing another one for our son's room and our horse trailer.

We received this mattress on the shipping date promised. I opened it on the bed and it expanded quickly to its proper size. There is NO smell at all with this mattress. I laid on the mattress and it has a very nice supportive feel and yet it is a medium softness. My granddaughter slept on it and really loved the mattress. As far as the side support I see no problem with it. This mattress actually feels close to the double pillow top king size mattress that we just spent $1400.00 on. If you are in need of a quality mattress that offers support but also want a softer feel when you lay down I would recommend this mattress. I am very happy with this purchase and I agree with the positive reviews.
