The mattress looks to be good quality. When I opened the package there was no smell. And to be honest I thought it was going to be just like the reviews nice and soft. Yeah it’s nice and soft when you push on it with your hand at edges of the bed. But when you go to lay on the bed. You realize yeah it’s not so soft. Yes it is softer than other bed in a box mattress. But i definitely have to purchase a mattress topper. I did order a pillow topper the same time I ordered the green tea bed. And it’s not enough. If you get back pain from the other bed in a box mattress. You will from this one too. So just keep that in mind when thinking of ordering a bed in a box. The only bed in a box I know that are nice and soft is after you have had them for years. Because I seen a review on this one saying it was sleeping on a cloud. I looked at several others. And decided on this one because of the reviews. One thing I can say is it is a lot lighter than some of the other bed in a box mattress. I only gave it 4 starts for the quality and because it didn’t have a smell and it’s light weight. And because I got it at a good price. But overall it’s a good mattress. Just hard like most of the others.

I received this (8in deep twin mattress) within 2 days of ordering, so for I have no issues. No smell after being in the hot Florida sun for like an hour. I left to to vent out for like 30-50 min give or take it was easy to setup and ready to go, it nice and it's so soft so for. Affordable and good quality!
