My husband and I just slept like a BABY! last night. We bought our old mattress from W*M about 5 years ago and it was a memory foam as well. We knew we desperately neededed a new one! I’ve been searching for weeks and weeks on Amazon and came across this multiple times with it having 4.5 stars with 22k reviews. Well, it has those reviews for a reason. It feels like you’re getting hugged on a cloud all night. Not too firm, not too soft, literally just right. Our 3.5 year old slept in between us as she usually does and got the best sleep last night too— didn’t wake up once! I opened the box yesterday and my husband and I both told ourselves we were waiting at least 48 hours no matter what…. Well—- we waited 8. The photo is shown after only 4 hours after taking it out of the package. I was BLOWN away how fast and much it expanded. I always am the first one to say to wait at least 48 hours but this bad boy genuinely did not need it!! Don’t waste anymore time if you’re debating and buy this baby!! 500% worth it and I would buy this 5x over with how good I slept last night—- being 6 months pregnant no less! This thing is a STEAL! I often have to defend my stance on purchasing mattresses through Amazon because we cannot try these things out beforehand. It’s always a high risk investment because it’s impossible to tell the level of comfortability until it arrives. Well, I’ll just say that I hit the jackpot with this mattress! I purchased it in a rush and sort of on a whim. It arrived quicker than expected, to my every pleasant surprise. I waited about a day before sleeping on it. I decided against the 3 day mark because it measured up to its full 12 inches before then. I’ve been getting such great sleep since purchasing this wonder. It’s the type of mattress that once you lay down, don’t worry about tossing and turning because your body will immediately relax thanks to the support your receive and you’ll drift off to a high quality sleep fest. It is quite heavy and seems very durable. Each day, it rises back to its original state with no indentions. My edges don’t sag like others that I’ve seen leave reviews, so I’m grateful for that. I appreciate that it comes with its own mattress cover that looks nice and clean. I mean still purchase a separate one that goes over like a fitted sheet because the preexisting cover goes over the entire mattress. I sleep alone, but I’m sure if I jumped on one side of the bed with a glass of wine on the opposite side, the glass would never tumble over (remember those commercials?). I’m naturally hot during the night. I won’t necessarily call this mattress cool just because of my own body nature, but I have noticed that I sweat a lot less than I did with my previous mattress. Surprised that only 5 inches and actually comfortable. My wife and I were skeptical having just came from a 4 seasons pillowtop bed which i disposed of during our move. The bed was ready to use in 24 hours (may require 72 hours to assure its fluffed up to its full extent ) I am 6' 200 pounds and my wife is 5' 6 125 ish and we had a great sleep . I have no complaints and originally I got this because it was cheap ,not an air mattress and intention to be used for a month or 2 but after sleeping on it , I think I'm going to put off shopping for another bed for awhile, my wife was happy with it and to think I thought about returning it before I ever opened it based on how thin it is. I am glad I didn't because it's surprisingly comfortable and for under 100 dollars it is well worth it. If I was to test this bed without knowing anything about it I'd think it was easily a 500 dollar bed or more just from comfort alone. Now I wouldn't go jumping in the air and belly flop on to it because after all it is only 5 inches thick but make no mistake this bed is actually comfortable to sleep on. ... show more

i love the size and the thickness of the mattress it is a bit stiff for the first few weeks, 8 months pregnant so i couldn't take it but my husband loved the firmness of it all i ended up buying a foam topper and that made it soooooo much better overall love the new bed .

This mattress...succeeded all my expectations. I bought it for my 11 yr old daughter..n she loves it as do I. It is soft yet pretty firm. Maybe it'll plushin up as it gets wore in but, for the money ...I couldn't believe how good it really is. When I saw all the great reviews I told myself...well maybe it's just to good to be true bcuz things usually are. But we r very pleased so far and it expanded to exactly 12 inches looks great on my girls new bed frame (platform bed frame) and brought her up to the lerfect height 😀 n believe me, I dnt normally write reviews unless it's bad..n I feel the need to say so. I’ve bought expensive beds that are on par with this bed! Very comfortable and has the right balance of firmness while also forming to the body. I would rate it as more firm than medium so be aware if you’re looking for something softer. I had a pillow top mattress before and I’m glad I made the switch to memory foam. It took a little bit to get used too but not in a bad way. I would toss and turn frequently and now I stay in place and have noticed better sleep. Even worst case scenario this bed lasts a year that’s still cheaper over time than buying an expensive one and replacing in 5 years! I would definitely recommend this bed ... show more
